Three Notch'd Collaboration Beer Garden

ALL NEW FOR 2016! Enjoy Three Notch'd Brewing Company's Collaboration Beer Garden!

1) “Inky Shadows”
ABV: 6.8% IBU: 66

A medium-bodied, deceptively refreshing black IPA that features a Simcoe and Citrus dry hop. Full of citrusy aroma, the roast and caramel play a subtle undertone. This beer was designed and brewed in collaboration with local homebrewers, Lee Good and Matt Waidelich, who have made this recipe one of their most celebrated.
2) Jack's Java
Style: American Stout
ABV: 5.5% IBU: 30
When Jack Jouette finished his historic 40-mile ride would he have wanted a beer, or a cup of coffee? Jack’s Java might be the perfect combination of the two; this rich and heart oatmeal stoat is finished with fresh ground espresso prepared specifically by Dave Fafara, Roastmaster at Shenandoah Joe, right across the street from the Three Notch’d brewery in Charlottesville. Dave came up with a special three roast coffee blend just for this beer. The coffee beans are cold infused allowing the fresh flavor and aroma to dominate without the acidity. All of this is back by a rich and hearty oatmeal stoat with a great semi-sweet-baking-chocolate-like sweetness.
3) Black and Goldings
Style: English Black Pale Ale
ABV: 6.3% IBU: 33
Dave Warwick and Tim Matthews became friends in Pittsburgh, PA in 2006 when they were both assistant brewers in crosstown brewpubs. Dave, now brewmaster for Three Notch’d, and Tim, now head of brewing operations for Oskar Blues, created "Black and Goldings" as a nod to the beloved city where their friendship and brewing careers began. Their experiences in Pittsburgh have left their mark on Dave and Tim, and now they’re teaming up to leave their own mark with this delicious collaboration brew.
4) Brew Betties Maibock
Style: Maibock / Helles Bock
ABV: 6.9% IBU: 25
Forged from the notion that girls drink craft beer too, the Brew Betties are a group of Charlottesville-area women joined by their love of a well-crafted ale (or in this case, lager!) Becoming Charlottesville’s first all-girl craft beer club, the Brew Betties are certainly leaving their mark in our hometown. This collaborative, seasonal brew, is the product of Brewmaster Dave’s finesse and the Brew Betties chutzpah. This medium bodied, springtime lager has toasty aroma and flavor complimented by German Noble Hops.
5) Farm To Stable
Style: Pending
ABV: Pending IBU: Pending
Farm to Stable gose was brewed to celebrate Blue Bee Cidery's move to their new location at the historic stables on Summit Ave. It combines the natural, crisp acidity of apples with a tart and salty gose base. The gold rush apple juice, from the cidery, provides a bold juicy apple flavor with tropical characteristics, while remaining light and refreshing with a dry finish.
6)  Cherry-docious Cherry Sour
Style: Pending
ABV: Pending IBU: Pending
Collaboration with Jamey Barlow (home brewer). Cherry-docious has never been released in Charlottesville and it is only the second time ever that this beer has been brewed!
