Montie Moore(of Sal & Mookies) to host Beer + Cheese tasting!

We're excited to announce that Chef Montie Moore from Sal & Mookies Ny Pizza & Ice Cream Joint will be doing a Sam Adams Beer and Cheese tasting at the festival on Saturday! The tasting will start at 2:30PM and end around 3:15 or 3:30PM. FOUR(!) different kinds of beers paired with FOUR(!) different kinds of cheeses!

A Renaissance man, Foodie, Raconteur, self described cheese aficionado who loves to talk about the cheese, cut the cheese ... you know for cheese plates.  Montie was recently chosen by Culture Magazine: the word on cheese, a national magazine for all things cheese, to be a member of a tasting panel for a new as yet unnamed blue chese from Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese in California.  Montie has assisted in numerous wine tastings providing cheeses and information on not just what but why this goes with that.  He conducted the first Beer and Cheese Tasting Jackson has ever seen in January 2010.  Montie is always willing to share his knowledge of cheese whether it's a simple pairing or a cheese plate
